2507 Duplex Stainless Steel Seamless Pipes have excellent corrosion resistance due to high molybdenum, nickel and chromium contents, as well as a large amount of austenite stabilizing element nitrogen. In addition, the hybrid microstructure of 2507 Super Stainless Steel Pipes enhances its resistance to localized pitting and crevice corrosion.
Alloy 2507 Pipes, also commonly known as Super Duplex or 25 Chrome, have a pitting resistance equivalent number greater than 40. In the annealed condition, these Super Duplex 2507 seamless pipes are more than twice as strong as conventional austenitic stainless steels and have excellent corrosion resistance.
