A249TP 316L stainless steel pipe is a low carbon version of A249 TP316 stainless steel pipe, a commonly used 300 series austenitic stainless steel type. These A249 TP 316L polished stainless steel tubes are similar to 304 and 304L, but have added molybdenum. The addition of molybdenum improves the corrosion resistance of the alloy, especially in chloride environments,A249 TP316L heat exchanger tubes have higher resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion.
