ASTM A312 Tp304 heat treated stainless steel pipe is directly quenched after hot forming at a minimum solution treatment temperature of 1040 degrees Celsius.
A312 Tp304 cold drawn seamless pipe is pushed or pulled, usually formed into shape from a round billet of raw material. It is more corrosion resistant than ordinary 304 stainless steel pipe and has better surface finish and strength.
