A178 GR.A ERW Steel Pipe
GNEE's A178 GR.A Welded Carbon Steel Pipe is produced using a variety of manufacturing processes, including hot or cold working, and then the pipes are subjected to various tests such as flattening test, hydrostatic test or non-destructive electrical test to ensure that the specified requirements are met.
The chemical composition of A178 GR.A Electric Fusion Welded Pipes includes Carbon: 0.06-0.18, Manganese: 0.27-0.63, Potassium: 0.035 and Sulfur: 0.035 which can withstand high temperatures without cracking, rusting or oxidation issues. The low carbon based A178 GR.A pipes are soft but are known to have excellent ductility and toughness as well as being machinable and weldable.
The applications of A 178 A Boiler Tubes are in small plants and industrial processes, for domestic heating systems, chemical processing sectors, refineries and pulp and paper mills.
