A178 Gr.C Welded Boiler Tubes are high-quality tubes that can withstand extreme temperatures and pressures. Made of carbon steel, these tubes are strong, durable and corrosion-resistant. A178 Gr.C grade high temperature carbon steel tubes should be made using the resistance welding process. After welding, they should be heat treated at 900°C or higher and then cooled in air or in the cooling chamber of a controlled atmosphere furnace.
A 178 C grade welded boiler tubes are specially designed to resist high temperature and high pressure environments such as steam boilers, heat exchangers and superheaters. It is also ideal for a variety of applications including industrial steam generation and heating systems, power plants and the petrochemical industry.
