A135 GR.A straight seam steel pipe is formed from rolled strip and welded seam, with tighter dimensional tolerance and lighter weight. The weld seam of A135 GR.A high-pressure carbon steel pipe has been heat treated after welding, so that no untempered martensite remains, and the weld flash can be removed on both the inner and outer surfaces.
A135 GR.A ERW carbon steel pipe has strong high temperature strength and is mainly used to transport gas, steam, water or other liquids. A135 GR.A welded steel pipe is also used in water distribution or valve trim applications in water-based fire protection systems, such as wet, dry, pre-reaction or deluge sprinkler systems.
