3PE Coating Pipe
A 3PE coating pipe refers to a steel pipe that has been externally coated with a three-layer polyethylene (3PE) coating for corrosion protection.
3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe base materials include seamless steel pipes, spiral steel pipes and straight seam steel pipes. The three-layer polyethylene (3PE) anti-corrosion coating has been widely used in the oil pipeline industry due to its good corrosion resistance, water vapor permeability resistance and mechanical properties.
The anti-corrosion layer of 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes is crucial to the life of buried pipelines. Some pipelines of the same material will not corrode after being buried underground for decades, while others will leak within a few years. It is because they use different external anti-corrosion layers.
3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe refers to a 3-layer structure polyethylene coating (MAPEC) external anti-corrosion steel pipe, which is a commonly used anti-corrosion pipe. Other anti-corrosion methods include IPN8710, FBE epoxy powder, epoxy coal pitch and other anti-corrosion methods. Generally refers to the anti-corrosion of the outer wall of steel pipes.

3PE anti-corrosion generally consists of 3 layers of structure:
The first layer of epoxy powder (FBE>100um)
The second layer of adhesive (AD) 170~250um
The third layer of polyethylene (PE) 1.8~3.7mm
3PE Anticorrosive Pipe
The preservatives for the inner wall of steel pipes include: one type of thermal melting glass powder preservative (high temperature melting), one type of liquid environmental protection agent, and a common liquid environment IPN8710 (room temperature cold heating).
