ASTM A53 Grade B steel pipe is a high-quality carbon steel alloy pipe widely used in structural steel and low-pressure hot and cold water pipes.
Class B Schedule 40 gas pipe is suitable for mechanical and pressure applications as well as general use in accordance with ASTM A53 standards.
For general-purpose applications, ASTM A53 Type E galvanized pipe is specified for water, steam, gas, and air piping. Due to the weldability of ASTM A53 Grade B alloy, it is well suited for forming operations such as coiling, bending and flanging.
