Specification range
Outer diameter range: The outer diameter of seamless steel pipe usually starts from 21.3mm and can reach up to 660mm, corresponding to the inch size of 1/2" to 26". For electric resistance welded (ERW) and high frequency welded (HFW) pipes, the outer diameter range is 1/2" to 24", while the outer diameter of straight seam submerged arc welded (LSAW) and spiral seam submerged arc welded (SSAW) pipes ranges from 16" to 100".
Wall thickness specifications: There are a variety of wall thicknesses to choose from, and common wall thickness series include but are not limited to Sch 40, Sch Std, Sch 80, Sch XS, Sch 160, Sch XXS, etc. For example, in some small-diameter pipes, the wall thickness may be thinner, such as 2.77mm, 2.87mm, etc.; while in large-diameter pipes or pipes used in high pressure and special environments, the wall thickness will increase accordingly, such as 12.7mm, 14.27mm, etc.
Length specifications: Generally, there are variable length (Drl) and fixed length (Srl), and the common fixed lengths are 20ft (about 6.1 meters) and 40ft (about 12.2 meters).
