Seamless steel casing pipes are used in oil and gas wells for the purpose of lining the borehole and protecting the wellbore structure.

Seamless casing is a type of casing made from seamless steel pipes, often used as critical components in oil and gas exploration and production. Seamless steel pipe refers to steel pipes made by four methods: hot rolling, cold rolling, hot drawing, and cold drawing. The pipe body itself has no welds.

Casing and tubing play an important role in oil and gas exploration and production. While the casing forms the well wall and is a permanent structure, the pipeline runs inside the casing, carrying the oil or gas to the surface. Both are critical components of an oil or natural gas well, and their failure can result in huge losses.

The seamless casing and connections are considered one of the most commonly used oilfield casings today. Seamless casings are produced in steel slabs of steel stone frames.
The manufacturing process includes steps such as heat treatment where the blank is exposed to high temperatures for sizing, straightening and final dimensions.
Seamless oil well casing is available in sizes and wall thicknesses ranging from 1/8 inch to 26 inches in diameter. It is particularly suitable for high-pressure operations including oil and gas exploration and drilling, the hydrocarbon industry and refining.

How are steel pipes transported and packaged?

Before packaging, ensure that the surface of the steel pipe is clean and has no obvious defects or damage.
This may include cleaning, removing grease or debris, and performing necessary inspections of pipes to ensure quality.
The steel pipes are cut and fixed to length according to the order requirements. Steel pipes can be packed into suitable bales.
