What is a condenser tube?

here are three types of condenser tubes: straight, spherical, and serpentine. The specifications are expressed in length (mm), and there are more than 150 to 350 types. The inner tube of the condensation tube has splices at both ends, which can be connected to other equipment of the experimental device to allow hotter gas or liquid to flow through the inner tube and be condensed. The outer tube often has upper and lower openings on both sides, which are connected to plastic tubes carrying cooling substances (such as water). Used in distilled liquids or organic preparations to function as condensation or reflux.

 

ASTM A214 heat exchanger tube is a seamless steel tube used in heat exchangers and condensers.
ASTM A214 condensing steel pipe belongs to H48 steel pipe and cast iron pipe in the Chinese standard classification.
Pipe sizes generally supplied in accordance with this specification are 3 inches (76.2 mm) outside diameter inclusive. Pipe in other sizes may be supplied provided that such pipe complies with all other requirements of this specification.
Mechanical property requirements do not apply to pipe with an inside diameter less than 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) or a thickness less than 0.015 inch (0.4 mm). The purchaser shall indicate the outside diameter and minimum wall thickness on the order and the inside diameter shall not be specified.
