LSAW Welded Steel Pipe
Longitudinal submerged arc welded steel pipes are made by double-sided automatic submerged arc welding or single-sided welding. They are used for the transportation of general low-pressure fluids such as water, gas, air, and steam.
The characteristics of the submerged arc welding process are the electrothermal effect of the welding wire and the hot melting of the filler welding steel plate. Submerged arc welded straight seam steel pipes have intermittent production devices with up to 15 processes. High-frequency straight seam steel pipes have few production specifications and thin production thickness. Submerged arc welded straight seam steel pipes can be produced in any specification range from 325 to more than 1600 mm, and the thickness is within 80 mm.
