Also known as 1.25Cr-0.5Mo, the UNS designation of ASTM A335 P11 is K11597. Its ASTM equivalent includes ASTM A369 FP11 as well as ASTM A213 T11.
What material is A335 P1 made of?
ASTM A335 P1 alloy steel pipe is composed of 1% chromium, carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon and molybdenum. This is a mild steel with a carbon content of 0.05 – 0.15%.

ASTM A335 P1 Alloy Steel Round pipes are primarily used in high temperature applications such as power plants, boilers and refineries where high temperatures and pressures are encountered. The alloy composition of P1 enhances mechanical properties and oxidation resistance at high temperatures.
