These pre-insulated single steel pipes have a rigid connection system that ensures seamless bonding between the steel pipe, PUR foam and HDPE casing. The insulated pipes are manufactured seamlessly and the polyethylene surface is corona treated to maximize adhesion to the PUR foam.
These insulated single steel pipes are mainly used for district heating fluid transportation, and the pre-insulated single steel pipes and fittings are installed underground. However, their HDPE casing is infused with carbon black to enhance durability against sunlight, making them suitable for above ground applications when necessary.
